1. 01 / Story · about 15–20 hours

   Play the campaign on any difficulty. Ubisoft says achievements do not require a difficulty setting, an online connection or a second run. Open the map when you enter each region and complete convenient locations as you sail. Save hard naval fights until the Jackdaw has better equipment.

2. 02 / Fleet preparation during the story

   From Sequence 4, unlock the fleet at Great Inagua and capture at least five Brigs for piracy assignments across five regions. Check for Art Piece rewards among mission reports; save manually before collecting reports so you can reload and try new assignments if no Art Piece appears. Renovate the village and recruit each ship class while you explore. Save money for the Jackdaw, equipment and manor displays; spending 50,000 Reales also has its own achievement.

3. 03 / Collectibles · about 20–30 hours

   Clear 11 forts, all 7 underwater shipwrecks, 5 legendary ships, 11 portraits, 5 officers and the friendly animals. Uncover all question marks and complete the Art Collection, including fleet rewards. Capture forts first to open fleet regions; visit the manor to check missing displays. Then visit every location and open every shipwreck chest. Upgrade the Jackdaw completely before attempting all legendary ships. Keep a short list of any question-mark locations still missing on the map.

4. 04 / Manor, equipment and games

   Track portraits, art collection pieces and equipment display slots in the Great Inagua manor. Finish tavern games, interact with all seven friendly animals and pick up any unfinished treasure map pieces. Some items and locations become available later in the story, so leave the final sweep until the campaign is over.

5. 05 / Miscellaneous cleanup · about 1–2 hours

   Check pistol kills, smoke-bomb groups, rope-dart hangs, ship maneuvers, the Great White Shark harpoon shot, a maximum-wanted pirate hunter, and the burning-ship event. These are separate objectives; read their descriptions before farming them.

Story-related trophy objectives are concealed below until you open each spoiler. The PS5 list has 50 trophies, including Platinum.
